Private Database Server Migration

All migration work is finished; all private emanagers have been migrated to the new server.

To continue to maintain system security and comply with House CAO requirements, Fireside will migrate all client emanagers to a new database server version by July 2019. Starting in March, Fireside will begin after-hours maintenance to complete this migration. All of this work will be done within the House standard maintenance window time frame of 12-6am EST; it is unlikely that we will need to conduct this work during the full six-hour window. During the maintenance, all clients emanagers will be down and inaccessible.

A few key points to highlight:

  1. You will not be able to log in to Fireside while the scheduled migration is in process.

  2. Websites will not go down, and forms will continue to accept submissions during the service window.

  3. Newsletters will not be sent during the migration. If your newsletter is in the process of sending when the morning's work begins, it will pause and restart at the conclusion of that day’s maintenance.

We will maintain a schedule of upcoming service windows and update it regularly. Please see the upcoming schedule below.

It is our goal to minimize the impact on you as best as possible, and we hope that this migration has no impact on your work at all. Thank you for your understanding, and please let us know if you have any questions.
